🫲🏻 Meet Maxim!
✨As President of Aspasie, Maxime represents the second generation at the helm of the company founded in 1971 by his parents, Nicole and Gaston Gélinas.
Today, his mission is clear: guide Aspasie into its next 50 years , with purpose, precision, and a deep respect for the craft.
👨🦱👨🦱👨🦱A proud father of three teenage boys, Maxim brings his natural curiosity and calm leadership to the business every day.
📔What is your favorite moment in the swatchbook journey?
“When clients visit us and discover how their product is made. There are so many steps behind a beautiful, high-quality swatchbook — seeing them appreciate that process firsthand is incredibly rewarding.”
🍫 What is your favorite hair color?
“Any color… as long as it’s curly.” (We couldn’t agree more.)
🚐 Can you share a fun fact about you?
My dream is driving my camper van all the way to Alaska with my wife, Annie. I am also a die-hard baseball fan – Go Jays Go!!!

“Impossible. I wake up and my hair is just like that.”

✨As General Manager at Aspasie, Antoine balances strategy and adaptability with a uniquely hands-on style. Some days he’s the conductor, making sure each department is in sync. Other days? He’s the one-man band, rolling up his sleeves and playing every instrument to keep things moving.
📔 Antoine, what is your favorite part of the swatchbook journey?
“Right at the beginning — when the client isn’t quite sure what they need. That’s when we dig deep, learn their brand inside out, uncover the best version of their color story and co-create something that’s exactly on target.”
💇♀️ What is your favorite hair color?
A cool, luminous blonde — “Not for me… it’s the color of my loved one, so I’ve learned to appreciate it even more.”
🍽️ Tell us something most people don’t know about you.
Antoine is a passionate home chef. “I don’t think a day goes by without watching at least one cooking video for inspiration. I love to eat — it’s a full-on obsession.”
😅 What was your worst hair day ever?
“Actually… a whole year. I once shaved and bleached my hair. It worked for Eminem, but let’s just say it didn’t have quite the same effect on me.” 🙌 We’re proud to have Antoine leading operations at Aspasie — where curiosity, care, and craftsmanship all work in harmony.
